The name “FIDE5” is deeply rooted in the Latin word “fide,” (/ˈfi.de/) which means trust, faith, or confidence—principles that lie at the heart of everything we do. It reflects our commitment to building meaningful, dependable connections—with each other and with those we serve.
Inspired by Fides (/ˈfiː.deːs/) the Roman goddess of trust and good faith, the name carries a legacy of integrity, loyalty, and mutual respect.
The “5” isn’t just a creative twist to set the name apart—it represents the five accounting professionals who came together to form this collective. Each person brings their own strength, but it’s trust that binds them as one.

FIDE5 began with a spark of connection—and a shared calling.
It all started with Beth, who was working in the accounting department of a solar energy company. There, she met four incredible colleagues, including her boss. Over time, they built more than just spreadsheets—they built trust, teamwork, and friendship.
But when the company announced the closure of its Philippine operations, the team faced a turning point. Instead of parting ways, the five accounting professionals chose to turn challenge into opportunity. They envisioned something bigger—something of their own.
Beth reached out to her long-time friend Jade, who had also dreamed of starting a business. Jade, alongside her partner, met with Beth and her accounting colleagues, and soon the idea for FIDE5 was born: a remote accounting agency powered by highly skilled Virtual Professionals who specialize in accounting and bookkeeping.
In a crowded virtual assistant market—often focused on admin tasks and social media—FIDE5 set out to be different. They chose a niche that demanded precision, trust, and expertise: accounting.
